Israel will help Jordan defend themselves. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Egypt step up as well.
I think Israel should tell Jordan they will help if Jordan agrees to take back all the Jordanian “Palestinians” out of Israel.

If Jordan and Egypt, in the course of the aftermath of a complete rout of ISIL, should happen to quietly annex Ghaza and presently-designated Areas A of Judah and Samaria, excepting Nablus (Shechem) and Hebron, it could turn out a whole lot worse, and should be followed up by an unequivocal annexation of presently-designated Areas C, leaving presently-designated Areas B under Israeli military occupation but Jordanian legal jurisdiction with some international monitors.
