The bureaucracy thats being run by incumbent Gov. Rick Scott just filed a tax lien against his Democratic challenger Charlie Crists wife, Gossip Extra has learned exclusively.
Holy Crist!
According to a document filed in Crists home city of St. Petersburg, the states Department of Revenues filed a lien against Carole Crist for non-payment of the reemployment tax for a period stretching from July 2012 through September 2013.
For the oversight, the state wants millionaire Carole to pony up $352.61, which includes the actual $100-tax, a $200-penalty, $50.24 in fees and $2.37 in interest.

Maybe the error would have been caught earlier if she shared her tax records so we can tell what influences would weigh on her husband, Mr. Zaccaro, if he were elected.
You know, if an incumbent wants to levy the power of the tax upon a rival, the least they could do is to make it significant, and then lose the backup records. Republicans are so ill suited to gang’sta politics!
Sounds like a Dem move. Maybe repubs are learning.
Charlie Crust is married??? To a woman???
This is simply a routine automated assessment that was sent out-—no “targeting” involved.
Charlie and Carole Crist married in December 2008 and file separately. She is an owner of a family Halloween costume and novelty business, Franco-American Novelty Co., and has created a second company, Goddessey.
The lawyer listed as registered agent for Goddessey is Crist’s brother-in-law, St. Petersburg lawyer Emory Wood.
Crist said he filed an individual tax return because he has always done so.
“I was a single guy for a long time,” he said. “She’s got her own business and it’s her business.”
Florida elected officials are required by law to file an annual statement showing their assets and liabilities. They are not required to release tax returns, but candidates for governor have traditionally done so.
Crist on Wednesday released his tax returns for 2011, 2012 and 2013, his first three years out of office after he unsuccessfully ran for the U.S. Senate.
They show that Crist’s income immediately shot upward in comparison to his state salary, largely because of his job at Morgan & Morgan, a high-profile personal injury law firm.

Scott last week released his and his wife’s joint returns for 2010, 2011 and 2012. He reported a net worth of $132.7 million, nearly a 60 percent increase over last year’s net worth of $83.8 million.
Scott said Wednesday he could not explain the increase.
She currently resides in Florida. Carole Crist has two children from her first marriage to Todd Rome, and has been accused of not paying child support to care for them.
She and governor Charlie Crist were married on December 12, 2008 in a St. Petersburg’s First United Methodist Church.
After her father’s death in 2000, Crist ran Franco-American Novelty for the next six years. She coined the slogan “Where Fashion Meets Halloween” and changed the focus of the company to more figure-flattering, high-fashion costumes. In 2006, she handed over control of Franco-American to her sister, Michele Oumano Powell, and in January, 2013 resigned from management of Franco American Novelty Co. llc. In 2012, Crist started a new Halloween Costume business in St. Petersburg FL called Goddessey, L.L.C.
BTW, do you know the difference between kinky and perverted?
Kinky is when you use a feather. Perverted is when you use the whole chicken.
Is she in costume in that picture?
My reaction also.
This is one of the few pictures I remember ever having seen of Crist’s wife.
Granted that I detest the lowlife SOB, and he has the distinction of being the one and only “intentionally left blank” category spot I ever left blank on any electoral ballot.
She keeps a really low public profile in Florida.
Wise of her, given her choice of husband...
