To be fair, that is exactly what common law defines as murder. Killing with just cause is not murder.
Which means the problem is not the principle, it's the Islamic definition of "just cause."

Good! But for a muslim, there is NO common law(man made) except allahs law(Islamic sharia law). Those that are deemded sacred by allah, are they ALL humanity (believers and non-believers) or just believers as muslims? And what of the “And if...”? The wrongful killing of a non-believer or the believer? Strange a muslim would suddenly be humbled to do “we have given his heir authority (to demand qisas or to forgive)” The Koran is about believers and non-believers, little on humanity! This also explains muslim’s non-assimilation and adhering to Koran’s surah 5, ayat 51.
