Chris McDaniel Rushes to Review Ballots From Tuesday's Election [Massive fraud by Cochran camp.]
Breitbart ^ | 6/27/2014 | Matthew Boyles

Posted on 06/27/2014 2:13:39 PM PDT by Linda Frances

When asked how Perry could have succeeded in not switching the books—since he and other Democrats refused to cooperate with his request on the grounds that they believed it was illegal—McInnis replied that he worked with Sen. Cochran’s sister-in-law—the election commissioner in Hinds County—to get the job done. “Connie Cochran is the election commissioner,” McInnis said.

The photo that was taken was of a copy from the runoff results (with the social security numbers of the voters redacted).

I presume that McDaniel’s people checked the D’s book from the original primary and marked down which of the R run-off voters had actually voted in the D primary.

It is true, though, that the R chair claims there were books where the poll worker started out marking things in the wrong column and then fixed it. So there must be official results which show somebody voting in both the D and the R elections. That photo must not be what the R chair was talking about though, because he said the worker crossed out the goofed-up parts when that happened.

I haven’t been working on fences, so I have spent some time here and I think I figured it out. :)

Since the primary was open, a voter could vote in either primary in the first election. The democrat and republican poll workers each had a book with all of the registered voters in it.

Anyone (D or R) who voted in the democrat primary was recorded as ‘voted’ in the democrat’s book. These people would not be eligible to vote in the republican runoff. (same for the other side if there had been a D runoff). The 6/24 column should have already been there so the same books could be used in a runoff.

On runoff day, the republicans should have taken the book that the democrats had used previously (switched books), so that when they looked up the name of someone voting, they would have known immediately if that person had voted in the democrat primary and so were ineligible.

This is apparently standard procedure and according to McInnis, not doing it is illegal. I don’t know enough about MS law, and I find it hard to take any democrat at his word, (freeper that I am), but if these things are true, there is *conspiracy* written all over it.

Hope this helps a little,
O2

That third paragraph is unclear. The R chair said there were run-off election results that showed voting in both the D primary and the R run-off because the poll worker screwed up by marking the early-June date instead of the run-off date when somebody voted in the run-off - but that the worker crossed out the wrong one and then marked the correct column instead. But that’s not what that photo was of, because nothing was crossed out, IIRC.

Thanks. A good and complete description. I was getting thrown because we had seen the Democratic Poll Book last night, which was clearly the one used in the GOP runoff. That was an instance of how the book was supposed to be used. The issue now, as I understand it from your description, is that Barbour’s myrmidons tried to subvert that system.

Here’s my problem with this. Mississippi uses the electronic ballot. So even if there are ten thousand instances of voter fraud, how are we to know or assume that ALL of them voted for Cochran? There is no way to tie a person to a vote. What happens next? I have no doubt that there was incredible voter fraud, and that it is likely enough to push McDaniel over the top. However, how is this going to proceed, given that this will end up in a court of law?

The corruption mentioned in that article is breathtaking. This one really hit me as an example:

Perry counters by saying many of the alleged illegitimate votes aren't from people who wrongly voted in the runoff, but only appear to have done so. In his statement, he explained further, referring to one specific precinct:
This is nothing more than an instance where a poll worker started marking an individual’s vote in the June 3rd column, rather than in the June 24th column. At some point the worker realized his or her mistake and corrected it – crossing out the ‘voted’ notation in the June 3rd column and moving it to its proper place. That is the correct procedure for the managers – but the McDaniel campaign is claiming that this is an example of illegal votes.

"We know there are errors that happened that day, and the poll workers out there corrected it," Perry said. "And they're just trying to make up numbers to make it look a lot better than it is."

Perry pointed to one instance where a precinct that supposedly included 192 votes from people who had voted in the June 3 Democratic primary, but according to the certified election results, only 37 people had voted in the Democratic primary on June 3 for that precinct.

So, the records showed that 192 people "might have" voted in the democratic primary. If they were on the list then a simple line through their name and that meant they didn't really vote. They narrowed down the 192 votes to 37 votes. You would think that precinct had turned in results that could be checked. But, if they will do the strike-throughs illegally, then who knows what they can change on other records, and then change totals in other precincts to make the final total come out correct.

The corruption is mind-boggling.

my comment to Senator Cruz on his website..
Senator Cruz,
We have been and are still BIG TIME supporters of your courageous effort to uphold the Constitution of the USA.

However your comment about “ looking forward to working with Thad Cochran” caused our family to become almost ill!!
How in good conscience could you support a REPUBLICAN who has stooped to the lowest of low without being true to the principles you are fighting for.Thad had stooped to the level of President Obama. He doesn’t deserve your endorsement or even suggesting you “ look forward” to working with him.

Chris McDaniel needed your support and so far it seems like you are slapping him down. Oh not by what you are saying but by what you are REFUSING TO SAY. PLEASE stand up against the corruption of the Republican party that is going on in MS.

Please think about what I am sure you are hearing from other conservatives and step up to the plate. You have nothing to loose and everything to gain.

Sincerely

Conservative voter in California.

Butterdezillion posted a clear explanation of “switching the books,” which served to explain the question I’ve had about cripplecreek’s posting of the democrat voter roll. Thank you Butter. That was very helpful.

The corruption is mind-boggling.

What kind of message does this kind of cheating at the highest levels send to our children and grandchildren?

That the ends justify the means and that cheating is an acceptable method of winning.

That slandering people is an acceptable method of getting ahead in the world.

The Republican Party has officially joined the dark side.

It matters not which party you belong to anymore. They are all corrupt to the core.

I suppose we were naive to think that our party was better than their party, that we stood on higher ground.

No, the Republican party is the party of the hypocrites that our critics have always accused us of being.

** Connie Cochran, Sen. Cochran’s sister-in-law and the Perry and Hinds County election commissioner, asked local Democrats not to switch the poll books. **

Not a very honest lady, huh?

How can it be proven that they DIDN'T vote for Cochran? - that's the rub. You can't prove it either way, so if there are more wrongly cast votes than the margin of victory, then there might be grounds to call a new election.

The result is that it is very sane to think that we do not have fair and free elections in the USA. Everyone in any office and any appointed by them are suspect.

He’s got to skip all this BS and get revved up for a write-in campaign. There’s no way judges are going to invalidate the election to matter WHAT they find.

But McDaniel just can’t let this stand. WE can’t let this stand. And unlike most write-in efforts, if well organized, this one CAN win!

The Dem candidate will get at least 25%. That means 38% wins it. Based on the votes cast so far, McDaniel can get that. But it’ll take a huge organizational effort, which he needs to start NOW!

Forget the rest of this crap.

Hank

And what would you have him do?

Nothing.

Man, you're blowing this WAY out of proportion. My point was specifically and PRECISELY the same as yours: that Cruz SHOULD stay out of it. I'm in NO WAY suggesting that he should involve himself.

Is this your time of the month, or what?

Anyone wonder why THIS race was so important to win that the big wigs would cheat so blatantly and involve democrats. Putting out fliers and robo calls that they knew would be reported. That’s taking a big risk. I know politics is dirty business, but it has to be more than just beating a a tea party candidate. Cochran was suppose to retire , but didn’t AFTER he hear McDaniel’s would run. Maybe they wanted to use an old man who would retire after voting for? Did they need him for some legislation they couldn’t put though until after the election, because if they did it before the election voters would be mad and they would lose in November? Immigration?
