NBC should be held liable for the editing of George Zimmermans 911 call in ways that made Zimmerman appear to be a racist.
In a grotesque and apparently malicious act of misreporting, NBC, in multiple broadcasts, aired doctored, heavily edited versions of the 911 call, misleadingly moving around Zimmermans words like a Rubiks Cube. The result gave a false impression of the tragic incident in which Zimmerman shot and killed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, and it exposed Zimmerman to the hatred, scorn and contempt of millions of viewers.
Zimmerman is suing NBC and the network is fighting back. But the networks actions, and its responses to complaints, indicate it willfully and knowingly damaged Zimmermans reputation.

Unfortunately, I read that he was suing for a poultry $2 million. ("Poultry? Dont you mean paltry?" No, I mean poultry - its chickenfeed!)
Was there ever a time reporters simply “reported” the news rather than manipulating public opinion?
I know Walter Cronkite lied through his teeth about Viet Nam.
I’m not too pleased with GZ’s lawyers...
“The judge on Thursday threw out the claim that NBC and employee Jeff Burnside defamed Zimmerman in a March 19, 2012, broadcast. Zimmerman can’t claim he was wronged by that report, the judge said, because his letter to the network, one required before a defamation suit is filed, never identified that specific broadcast, and his letter did not include Burnside as an offending party”
The MSM are responsible for the sensationalism of the whole circus. Drive by.
I read that some of Zimmerman’s claims have already been thrown out of court, which is patently ridiculous, and that the judge was the same woman who almost wrecked his trial. Would love to be wrong about that.
