The paragraph describing what happened in Hattiesburg describes it better.....if there are more questionable ballots than the margin of victory...then election can be redone

Which means McDaniel has a good chance of getting a new election...if MS GOP-DNC doesn’t burn ballots first

There is no evidence of illegal crossover in the ballots; although there may be errors in ballots that render them invalid. The evidence of illegal crossover votes is embodied in the poll books. A voters choice of ballot in the primary is recorded in one of two poll books, DEM or GOP. The evidence of a voters participation in the runoff is also recorded in a poll book. If the same voter voted in both the DEM primary and GOP runoff, then the GOP runoff vote is invalid. If the number of invalid votes is greater than the margin of victory, it throws the outcome into doubt.
