Good for him. He’s big enough now to survive this, and being British helps, in the same way it helped Piers Morgan to be excused things an American wouldn’t have been.

I'm amazed. In the past, there's been no film project slamming America and conservatives especially that Oldman didn't want to be part of. Examples: The Contender cited above, Arlington Road, in which Rush listeners are equated very forcefully and deliberately with people like The Weather Underground.

Regarding Nancy Pelosi, Oldman said
Well, if I called Nancy Pelosi a c**tand Ill go one better, a f***ing useless c**tWorth repeating....

The man who masterfully played Beethoven in “Immortal Beloved”, one of my very favorite movies (it’s all about the music), does a number on the looney left! Gotta love it!!

Like a
good European, he also lauds the antisemtic ramblings of Mel Gibson. He even claims moral equivalence with the Jews as if we say f...ing Germans (read without the ellipses) or someping along that line.
And calling Nancy Pelosi a c... (again, read without the ellipses) hardly advances debate forward.

I wouldn't. She lacks the warmth and the depth.

I love this guy. I even paid to see that piece of s___t remake of Robocop because he was in it.
Oldman took a lot of crap in the 80s in England for vocally supporting Margaret Thatcher. He’s been a vocal conservative his whole life and, as you can see in this interview, he holds absolutely nothing back. Its so refreshing.
