The right to carry a concealed weapon only exists if your doctor says so. Many states are requiring that physicians certify whether patients are competent to carry a concealed weapon. Some states require mandatory reporting of those deemed not competent to carry a concealed weapon.
Of course, the natural extension of such laws is that if the doctors make an inappropriate determination, then the doctors can be held liable if the certifiee does something inappropriate with the weapon.
The sad part is under Obamacare some RN or GP will make the call.
Some ahole with no formal training in physiology.
Maybe some RN with a phobia of her own, a hoplophobe.

That isn’t going to go over well with the several docs I know. They were forced, years ago, to ask every patient about firearms in the home, and didn’t like that mandate. Certifying CCW/CHL will be potential professional suicide for them.
