No, I think my buddy and I pretty well locked up the rights to that title when we were in a Catholic high school. Took a Home Econ class on the girl’s side of the school ... pretty risque at the time.

Why in the world should they name the team after congress? Why should they get the glory?

There’s one name that would fit perfectly. But then every team would have the same name.

In the Declaration of Independence, Jefferson mentions the "merciless Indian savages." I wonder if the PC crowd would accept "Washington Savages"?

They might go with "Washington Redcoats," since present-day Washington seems to stand for everything George Washington and the patriots of the American Revolution were fighting against.
