This poll doesn’t surprise me. I live here in Lakeland where one of the High Schools has the Braves(Indian mascot) and it is a moderately traditional bedroom community where Publix Supermarket is based. Working class sandwiched between Tampa and Orlando.

In the Declaration of Independence, Jefferson mentions the "merciless Indian savages." I wonder if the PC crowd would accept "Washington Savages"?

They might go with "Washington Redcoats," since present-day Washington seems to stand for everything George Washington and the patriots of the American Revolution were fighting against.
