From Michelle Malkin's Twitchy:

Stephen King ✔ @StephenKing

Multiple gunshot wounds last night at Red Rocks. We regulator booze and tobacco; it's time to regulate firearms.

Jeez a boy could buy fishing gear, pocket knives BB guns, Real guns,Hockey sticks, ammo, Calcuim carbide, whatever you desired or needed.
Cash on the barrel head son, no questions, no one was killed or injured.

Sheesh I miss America.

Does Stephen King understand there are SOOOO many of us who have stopped watching movies with actors that spew anti-American views and refuse to read books by authors of that same ilk?

Why are so many of you on here hate-filled? Don’t agree with King? Fine. Want to see him dead? Wow, that’s just mean and uncalled for. I thought we were better than DU. Apparently not. (go ahead, hover over the name to see if you can label me as a noob - you know you want to)

“And in Georgia, you can have a cigarette vending machine in an adult establishment. Ergo, we should have handgun vending machines!

You can also buy a case of alcohol with no background check. Ergo, we should be able to buy 12 assault rifles with no background check!”

Maybe that’s exactly how Mr. King wants it?

For the record, King loves conservatives:

http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2012/04/30/stephen-king-tax-me-for-f-s-sake.html

The U.S. senators and representatives who refuse even to consider raising taxes on the rich—they squall like scalded babies (usually on Fox News) every time the subject comes up—are not, by and large, superrich themselves, although many are millionaires and all have had the equivalent of Obamacare for years. They simply idolize the rich. Don’t ask me why; I don’t get it either, since most rich people are as boring as old, dead dog sh*t. The Mitch McConnells and John Boehners and Eric Cantors just can’t seem to help themselves. These guys and their right-wing supporters regard deep pockets like Christy Walton and Sheldon Adelson the way little girls regard Justin Bieber … which is to say, with wide eyes, slack jaws, and the drool of adoration dripping from their chins. I’ve gotten the same reaction myself, even though I’m only “baby rich” compared with some of these guys, who float serenely over the lives of the struggling middle class like blimps made of thousand-dollar bills.

prepping myself to re-read The Stand unabridged version but man is the print small

About 30 years ago, I read the unabridged version of, "Les Miserables", it weighed about 14 pounds. I was a glutton for punishment back then and read more about the French Revolution, than any sane person needs to read. I don't recommend it to anyone.

Personally I think the speech of horror authors should be federally regulated due to the mental trauma inflicted on the minds of liberals, I mean the mentally challenged.
