but hey, at least ya got free birth control, right??? Not quite. My daughter had a medical condition and couldn't take the regular BCP. Her doctor wanted her to have one with a different hormonal makeup than usual. That's not covered... AT ALL. So, instead of being able to get any BCP for a $9 co-pay, she now has to either pay $60 for the less common stuff (every month) or do without. I guess it's free for as long as you're able to choose from the tiny list of gov't approved pills.
