A good start.

Issa should also subpoena all emails from the White House, Department of Justice, FEC, or Democrat offices to Lerner, her assistants, staff, associates, underlings, etc.

“A good start. “

Six months from now we will hear that it will take a long time to collect all the drives.

One year from now, we will hear that all the drives were lost in a boating accident.

Issa is in on this.

There’s no way anything will be discovered.

Issa is compromised.

This is a dog and pony show.

He should get Lerner’s hard drive too. An IT guy could tell if it really failed or if it was sabotaged.

Lois Lerner’s first e-mail about her hard drive was to Carl T. Froehlich - so he’s the first person they should interview.

And when they don’t turn over butkus you’ll just send them another sternly worded letter, right?

Why should he ask the IRS ? He is a Representative of the people of the United States of America. According to the Constitution, he represents one third of the Government.

I guarantee you that should this have been a Republican Administration scandal, the Democrats would be demanding, not asking.

THe Federal Records Compliance Act is one of the keys to putting Lerner in jail.

She is required, by law, to preserve all work related documents for future preservation in the National Archives Electronic Archives system.

If she didn’t, then it is a criminal offense and even Holder’s legal whores can’t ignore prosecuting her (or could they, being the worst attorneys DOJ has ever had?).

Besides, government data systems are backed up the wazhoo so they are preserved somewhere in the govt system.

Also, Lerner’s emails are preserved in the files of those she contacted. Therefore Issa should have included these recipients in his requests, which should be “demands”, if he hasn’t done so already.

I’ll bet that Putin is laughing his red ass off now because Obama/Holder are now the equals of his KGB/FSB agencies, and just as lawless and ruthless.

No wonder Obama said that after the elections he would be a little more ‘flexible’. In Russian that translates into more ‘treasonable.’ That ‘s the name of the game and Obama plays it well.

“A good start.’

Yep. Except all that was lost in a boating accident on the Potomac River...

I bet they hand over a brand-new 2014 model Seagate drive. Still in the box.

Forensics will uncover no evidence of any emails from 2011 on the drive. Experts will be baffled.

This will cost about a trillion dollars to gather because the government is so efficient.

You know something, the more time that passes by, with all these Obama Scandals going largely unpunished, I am truly starting to wonder if people like Daryl Issa are deliberately not pushing the prosecution or public trial. I wonder if this is being deliberately dragged out to run the clock of this administration. I hate to think of it so cynically.

Daryl Issa has always impressed me as someone very savvy and knowledgeable on due process and protocol, yet nothing ever gets done. No one ever gets sentenced, or even formally accused. I wish someone else was doing Issa’s job. He and others are benefitting in some manner by not pushing these scandals to their next logical steps.
