Astounding stat.
We’re definitely swimming upstream against a demographic wave.

To the GOPe, the term conservative simply means he is willing to cut business taxes, and regulations. Aside from that, they defer to the Democrats.

Great! They’ve reached the “bargaining” phase of acceptance. Just past anger and eventually acceptance.

In other words, there is no one alive who voted for a winning GOP Ticket that did not have a Nixon or Bush listed on that ticket.

I like and admire the Bush family.
That does not mean that I agree with them on everything, especially THE DEFINING ISSUE FOR traditional GOPers, which is position on amnesty for illegal aliens.
To put it politely, it will be wholly self-defeating for any GOP primary candidate to support, in any version, amnesty for illegal aliens (or "pathway" or "dream" or any other lying euphemism for amnesty for illegal aliens.)
Accordingly, I do not support Jeb for any elected office,

And here I thought I was trying to mollify them the way they do to me all the time.

Oh hell no. If it somehow happened 4 years later it would then be his turn.
Screw that crap in every way shape and form.

Not only no, but 1,000 times no. If he’s even part of another soft-RINO package, my ballot will be a write-in.

No to Jeb Bush for many reasons, among them: his refusal to save Terri Schiavo; his adoration of illegal aliens that can be viewed as a fetish and/or treason; and many voters have had enough of the Bushes.

I quit reading where it said he was a reliable conservative.

Same here. What an idiot.
Does not really matter, though, as the USA will have ceased to exist by 2016, anyway, thanks to Obamugabe’s tsunami of illegal aliens.

No, just old. That's why the writer calls them "party elders."
Stu Spencer's been in politics since at least 1961, maybe longer. A lot has changed since his day.
