Our bowing out of the picture, only gives them time to tool up to conquer us. Then, the collective "we" had better get serious about identifying islam for the existential threat it is and act accordingly, instead of parsing with "war on terror" catch phrases as a strategy to dance to the PC tune while we foolishly nation build our enemies bent on destroying us.

We funded, armed and trained the Iraqi Army to counter balance Iran’s hegemony.
We (defacto) funded, armed and trained the ISIS to fight Assad and Iran/Hezbollah by proxy.
Might we now need to fund, arm and train Assad, Iran and Hezbollah to rein in ISIS?
Which of these five groups are the good guys?

INHO, we’ve trained the military, both DoD and CIA controlled, to plan to integrate the press into their war plans and operational art. It appears those who move on into other power structures, now are able to control the press machine in their broader campaigns.
A major problem has arisen where the public is no longer being sought as a political force to support national agendas. Instead, we have political ‘scientists’ engineering their political agendas aka socialist and progressive engineering.
We no longer know with any veritable cognizance, who is on what side, doing what where.

I remember seeing clips after 9/11 of Muslims through the Middle East cheering. So, with deference and deepest reverence to our Military people who were injured and killed fighting these nutjobs, I say that these people are getting what they cheered for. Terrorism, death, chaos. My hat is off to the PTB who finally figured out that we might be a lot better off if we can get the Muslims to fight and kill each other, rather than focus on killing Americans. Let them continue, and let’s keep all sides armed, angry, and fighting as long as possible.

It’s kind of like watching a sports event and cheering when each side scores. I mean, how much more gracious could we be?

Watched it! Reminds me of early in the Iraq war - "Oh dude."
It sounded like the guy who kept saying Allah Akbar was getting weaker and weaker.
