The GOP should use the Brat template

The GOP, especially the conservatives, need to weed out and reduce their slate to a candidate or two early on. Having half-a-dozen going into any election only waters down their message(s). That is part of what happened in SC with Graham winning the primary in a landslide.

Exactly right, but we have invented a system you can get the work done with fewer hours of effort. The Dems are terrified.

Big catch here. This guy is evidently a charismatic leader and not to be taken for granted. He leads ISIS and no telling how many areas the may conquer. They are willing to do whatever it takes to win and now they have the money to do it with.

Keep at it Bray, keep at it.

Bray, I got a real neat something I found out.

I got a snoop (I got snoops all over the place, damn I’m good at it) who sent me an email and asked if I wanted him to forward it to me daily.

What it is, and I never knew such a thing existed...the county, and state I must suppose, pays a guy and all he does is gather links to the local media, newspapers, web sites, radio talk show bytes....on all local and state issues.

So my friend (one of my men friends....there are many, THESE guys will tell you anything, insert wink here)...forwarded this email to me and guess what I found?

MY BLOG POSTS....zillions of them!

Heh. I have a special way of titling my blog posts”Delaware politics read ‘em and weep....the 0/00/00 edition.” There were a slew of these; made me consider re-doing this Blog thing.

As I understand it, every employee and elected official of all counties (there’s only 3 of them in Delaware, don’t get too excited) and state get a copy of this email, gathered by a paid state employee.

What a hoot!

So I am told, and I have no proof of this but I am told by someone who would know, that Governor Markell reads my column every day. Not that this fact is a source of pride, Markell being a low-IQ liberal.

Still.....

I am reaching THOUSANDS of people every day and never even knew it. Although there were clues. My editor keeps calling me and asking if I need anything, am I okay?

When I request an interview they jump at the bit to work with me. I am very nervous about FreeRepublic. I know of one Freeper who joins sometimes on this thread but I trust him.

I say a lot of things on this thread I’m not sure I’d want those many gubmint employees reading. Some day, some way, I think they’re going to fight back against me.

If your group doesn’t have a Blog, get one.

Adding to the bemusement, daughter’s PFA comes up right as a local guy I supported is on trial for rape and a local elected guy too has a PFA.

Melissa says to me...”What is John Atkins’ wife name? Is it Heather?”

Heh. Which it is. Long story about this guy but daughter knows it. Said she and Heather were in same room yesterday than it’s a media firestorm as Eric Bodenweiser (”Mom, you got his bumper sticker on the Jeep!”) and his wife come trotting up.

Sometimes I think God has a plan for me and arranges these things perfectly.

But I dream.

;)

I’m developing a real sense of suspicion regarding these “national tea party” groups.

Seem to me to be long on fund-raising and self-promotion and real short on the real work at hand...like finding and/or supporting truly conservative candidates.

Guess I still judge people by their deeds more than their words....

That is a great idea. We do have a website although it is pretty lame. We can now begin to shape the thought just like we turned the tide on Light Rail.

Jeff Session's article, Becoming the Party of Work--How the GOP can help struggling Americans, and itself, should be required reading for any GOP candidate.

The GOP must move away from the corporate class and to the American worker. Both parties have abandoned the American worker. Dave Brat used this template and won.

Exactly SC was a disaster. We should have been able to get rid of Goober but severe lack of organization did it.

Couldn’t agree more. And there is no consensus among the Tea Party groups on immigration. There is a strong libertarian strain that wants open borders and the free flow of labor.

GOPe is classless and treacherous. Brat explains his positions very well which is why MSM will NOT let him on their shows.

Got ta get out the popcorn.

The group taking over in Iraq, which we oppose, is the same group fighting in Syria, which we support. What could go wrong?

It’s one more example of “How’s that working out for you 0zero?”

Also enjoyable to learn no boots on the ground policy as we send in advisers to Jordan and elsewhere. They must be wearing moccasins or ballet shoes or something. Not boots.

This past Friday afternoon the IRS claimed that it lost Lois Lerner’s e-mails, a claim that IT specialists say is pure b-s. “This Weak” makes no mention of this in their show, but somehow finds time for Georgie to do a 5 minute segment on Watergate. Unbelievable!!

If anyone would help me out by contributing to my book I would appreciate it. Getting great responses, but in this climate nobody wants to spend any money. If you read the book and liked it please write a review on Amazon and help others decide.

....on al Maliki to include Sunni representation in his govt. instead of freezing them out.

Freezing out the Sunni’s leads to strife and conflict.
When they target the teaparty, mock Sarah Palin, mock Duck Dynasty, Alinsky conservatives and Christians, they cannot forecast any tension or hard feelings.

This small fact seems to be missed by the media.

The media/press also misses the issue that TEA means taxed enough already and is an issue held in voters minds, not an organized political party.

Agreed. I think we need to declare everyone in the world US citizens. Then the US government will collect taxes from each and everyone of the newly deemed US citizen. This of course happens after a flat tax is imposed and everyone pays a flat 15%. We will then put Obama in charge of the Revenue Collection Drone Agency because he so good at killing people with his favorite unilateral weapon of choice to enforce this new Global US Citizen Law. (I am joking of course.)

“I like Rogers and Tom Price, sponsor of HR 3000.”

Well, Mike Rogers is working to replace the only limited G’ment type from Michigan.

I do not understand why you would like a RINO like Rogers

If the media spent as much time on 0sama is dead and GM is doing great as they did on “Mission Accomplished” the public would have a better understanding of what’s wrong in Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as Democrats in general.
