My FRiend, we are engaged in a constant spiritual battle, and as in all warfare there are a number of tactical responses to attack. Sometimes you oppose it directly, sometimes you deflect it, sometimes you counterattack and sometimes you even should withdraw. Raging at these people might be very satisfying, but frankly it gives them more publicity and credence than they deserve. As the foot soldiers in this strife we don't see the overall strategic picture, so our primary response should be to follow the commands of our general.

I dont think God appreciates this kind of thing at all, but He also says "Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you." That message is said loud and clear (with several minor variations) in numerous Bible passages.

If you want my personal opinion, I think the best way to fight this kind of assault is to, firstly, pray. Secondly, sponsor or produce a BETTER facebook page that either refutes or shows up theirs in a kinder, more easy to understand, more humorous and clever way. Incidentally, laughing at the ludicrousness of sin and sinners is usually very effective. "The devil, the proud spirit, cannot abide scorn" (Milton).

It so happens I'm not a Catholic either.

Letting FB know that a page is offensive is not "raging." It's a matter of fact. If enough people did it, they might pay attention. It certainly worked for Chick-fil-A, for Cracker Barrel, and at Harvard when they tried to host a Satanic Mass -- they were overwhelmed with emails from all over the country. Just not buying your excuse for coming on here just to say "poo poo."
