BEAT Hillary?
War on women!!
Cruz stands no chance. Doesn’t mean I don’t like him or some of what he says, but he will get slaughtered. The Tea Party, as determined as we are, can’t even stop a Lindsey Graham. Yeah, I know Cantor was defeated and the Tea Party is strong in TX. But that comes nowhere close to a National mandate or win. We are a strong ... minority. Cruz will appeal only to us. It would be a Clinton landslide and that is assuming ... a BIG assumption ... that he can get the nomination. Toss in the GOPe will eviscerate him on a National level and, well ... no.
Not an attack on Cruz, just the facts.
I noticed that the article mentions the fact that Cruz was a former lawyer, and that he had appeared before the Supreme Court.
However, there’s a little more info to be added to that: Some of you already know that Ted Cruz was the Solicitor General of Texas when Bush ran for the WH in 2000. Because of that position, Ted Cruz was the person who went before the Supreme Court to argue in the Bush v. Gore case. It was Cruz’s legal brilliance and thorough knowledge of the Constitution that allowed Bush to prevail in the election.
Now you know why the dems HATE him .. and why the McCain group calls him names. I cured the McCain group though, when they sent me a request for a donation - I sent them a note back - SORRY, I’VE ALREADY SIGNED UP WITH “WHACKO-BIRD” - which is the snarky name McCain gave to Cruz because Cruz wouldn’t bow to the senior senators’ request that Cruz sit down and shut up.
And .. this is why I am supporting Cruz.
If Ted debated Hillary .. he would leave her stammering and blubbering.
5. Since Ronald Reagan (excepting George HW Bush) the voters have given each party, in turn, two terms. They have seemed to tire of one party after 8 years and turn to the other.
It seems pretty clear that the public has had enough `hope and change’ from the Democrats, so the only way I can see the GOP losing is if they nominate another tired McCain, Romney clone—like Bush the Turd, I mean, third.
This election is the GOP-e’s to lose and, knowing them as we do, they just might be able to pull off a loss.
I absolutely love Cruz! And I get a thrill up my leg when he talks all conservative. Seriously, the reason Cruz can win is that HE DOE NOT ACCEPT liberal premises of dems or the media. For too long, republican candidates have acceded to liberal premises and adopted their lexicon. Cruz will turn it around on them. For example, what is more “extreme” — getting people off of the government dole, or encouraging ever greater numbers of Americans to get on food stamps and other entitlement programs. I submit it is more extreme, and stupid, to get more people dependent on their neighbors for support. Similarly, what is more “extreme” — building pipelines to safely transport oil to refineries, thus improving our standard of living, or remaining dependent on Middle East oil, even as the whole area descends into chaos? Hmmm?
The other intangible people are not considering is that people are starved for true leadership. Hillary has exhibited the antithesis of leadership. Cruz will consistently and forcefully lay out a vision for a better and more prosperous America. It will be compelling.
That’s a solid list.
"You don't mind if we don't curl up in the corner with you and give up all hope while we fight on for a conservative winner to become POTUS do you?"
Who said anything about giving up?!? One just needs to determine how to reduce the probability of a significant number of these flatlined traitors voting.
that’s exactly where I am...if we must lose, which is likely, due to the voter fraud among other things...but we should do so in a principled way.
If I lose I want to lose fighting, not surrendering on issues and principle until the voters can’t distinguish between the Republicans and democrats and vote for the real socialist instead of the me too socialist. If a clear difference is presented I believe “Conservatism” will win. I don’t believe we will find anyone more capable of delivering the Conservative message than Senator Cruz.
From your great graphic to the nation’s ears and voting fingers.
