You’re right - they are NOT equal.
One of the two is a god-given, constitutionally protected right.
The other is treated as valid across state lines.

Actually, you are correct. There should be NO requirement for anyone to have government “approval” to carry an SDT. (self defense tool)

The Second Amendment shouldn't require a permit, and carry (open and concealed) should be legal in all 50 states without such requirement. The 2nd Amendment is pretty clear on the whole thing.
