GOP prays Hillary will run unopposed (Why not start ads against her now?)
Washington Post ^ | June 11, 2014 | Jennifer Rubin

"The book and the tour, if anything, have convinced Republicans that Clinton is eminently beatable. They have the research and the arguments against her all ready to go. They’ve grown comfortable with the idea of tying her to Obama and watching her walk a tightrope between defending him and distancing herself from the Obama train wreck. They see her record as a 10-ton weight she’ll have to haul around the country. They may be underappreciating her assets, but the GOP is preparing — almost joyfully so — to run against her."

Have been saying right along she won't run. This is about selling her book. She has an escape hatch. Bill probably heard it a million times....

She is beatable, but a country that’s stupid enough to elect an unaccomplished leftist because he’s black is also stupid enough to elect an unaccomplished leftist because she’s female.

In the 2008 primaries, polls showed Hillary had some of the highest negatives ever recorded for a major party presidential candidate.

What has changed since then? She is still a very polarizing figure.

Bill said Hillary wanted to be a grandma more than she ever wanted to be president.

Chelsea’s baby will have Grandma Hillary in his/her face.

"---stupid enough to elect an unaccomplished leftist because she’s female."

Do not underestimate the appeal to voters of electing a "first" of anything. Women make up a majority of the electorate and I know many are chomping at the bit to vote for HRC just for the historical factor. My normally conservative sisters being among that group.

I have a theory. It might sound silly, but after watching Hillary for 20 years I saw that she doesn’t want to work for anything. Like Obama, she feels entitled, which is why at the present date, she is phoning everything in.

Hillary’s in no condition, nor capable for another primary fight. It’s too stressful and too many questions about her health and Benghazi will be raised, as well as her accomplishments as SecState.

So how does Hillary run for President? First question to ask is, is Hilary really the Rats “only” candidate? Is there no one better, with less baggage that has national recognition? This is why I think Castro from San Antonio will ultimatlely be the candidate, but let’s put that aside.

The only way Hillary can run for President is to be “drafted” after the convention after no one candidate gets the votes necessary to be the party’s candidate. So how does this play out?

There is no rat convention date set. I am willing to bet, if the optics for Hillary are correct, the DNC will push the convention out as far as they can. The goal is to get as close to the election as possible so Hillary 1) doesn’t have to campaign and 2) doesn’t have to debate especially after the Crowley debacle with Obama. Also the rats can use most of he campaign cash they accumulated for senate races.

We already know the media has her back, so depending on when the convention is, they can run interference while the draft Hillary movement gains momentum and ultimately grips the publics attention and shapes their opinion.

The rats need 2016 to finish the job. Especially if they hold the senate in 2014. Obama was the most liberal senator. Hillary was second. The rats have to run a woman, so they can hold on by using victim hood as tool to hold back Republicans from criticizing her.

Like I said, a theory.

Oh, puleeze. The last two GOP candidates were dumb bunnies who handed the election to The Won on a silver platter. McRINO even pimped for him with his “we don’t have to be afraid of Obama” hooey. The GOP slapped down and helped the msm poop all over Palin and her family. There is no GOP. It’s all one party.

According to the reviews Hillary’s book is a barn burner...literally, you might just as well use it the start a fire.

Hillary is just as (or more) vulnerable to a primary attack from the left as she was in 2008.

I’m pretty much in full agreement with your theory.

She’s far too frail to run a campaign, no less a country.

Sales of the Clinton book, are, and have been terrible. The book has never reached, as of yet, the #1 bestseller position on Amazon.com. The pre-sales were terrible and the reviews, devastating negative. Now. she may dupe some idiots into a mass buy...but this book is a total flop...just as she is!!! I mean....come on...if a buffon America hater, like Barack Hussein Obama could outsmart Ms. Clinton...she is absolutely not the brightest candle in the room!!!

How dumb can the RINOs be? If hillary runs unopposed, she'll be less tarnished, less physically exhausted, and better off financially for the campaign. The dems will be able to put all of their efforts into finding vulnerabilities in potential 'pub nominees. Besides that, dems would be free to "vote for the worst" in Republican primaries.

And when it's all over....the dems could slip in a relative unknown, unbruised by primary campaigns, to choose as their nominee at the convention.

It's all part of their marching orders....anyone but a constituional conservative for President.
