There’s another good photo montage out there called “The Ruins Of Detroit” if you can find it.
Amazing what people do to their neighborhoods... damned shameful.
Ping
Also look at my old hometown area, the Tri-Lakes of the Adirondacks in northern NY...in fact, ALL of upstate NY to see what happens when Dems ‘regulate’.
I’m shocked at how fast these streets deteriorated. In some of the pics, the houses don’t really look that bad in 2007 or 2008.
Close, but what we are
About to see is more properly
Called Obamaschina, although
Detroit is a great example of the results!!!

Instead of two nuke bombs, Detroit looks like it had 8 nukes dropped on it.
What a war zone.
Sorry for the multiple posts,
My hard drive failed after six
Years of continuous use
And I’m doing my posts from my phone. T68.
I'm not saying that city management (politics?) was not a problem with Detroit. But the problem that I have with Hiroshima / Detroit comparisons is the following. Unlike the States which has room for citizens to relocate if they need to, the island of Japan has limited space for its citizens and the Japanese people probably had to rebuild Hiroshima out of necessity imo.
Democrats: You built that!!!
North Philly refugee here... I am very familiar with it... Sadly.
It’s disgusting what people do to beautiful homes they didn’t build, yet get handed to them.
evidence of a once proud civilization........NOT!
All of upstate and western NY now looks like Detroit.
I’ve lived in Buffalo for the first 10, Syracuse for 30 and Rochester for the last 10. Every little town now looks like a mini-Detroit. Once thriving little “bergs” are hopeless wastelands for the welfare classes, full of fat, ugly, white women and their little brown offspring. Even the trailer parks are now emptying out. There is literally nothing left of Upstate and Western New York.
Tupper/Saranac/Placid...still have the tourists but Old Forge, and many of the less familiar places are dead.
I left in the 90s and it was bad then. I intentionally avoided looking back.
Recently there was a thread a few of us were talking about it and I mentioned that Tupper’s main street looked a lot like Detroit now in a youtube video I chanced across.
The house I grew up in was built from the timbers of the old Kildare railroad station...the Blue Mnt. Museum one is a recreation. ;) It was built like a tank. Never a palace but a nice Leave it to Beaver style home.
Recent pix of it I saw look exactly like the houses in the detroit pix. Exactly. I am convinced my grandfather rolls in his grave. But thats the result of the APA and Albany bringing ‘democracy Dem style” to the area.
All that remains is Sunmount mental hospital. All logging and industry? Closed.
Hmmm. Now, what happened in eay 2009? Hmmm. Oh yeah, Obamao was sworn into office!
Coincidence? I don't think so.
