Outing the CIA Station Chief may have been part of the deal. They get 5 big shots back PLUS they get to kill the head CIA man in Afghanistan.
What always pisses me off is all the people who had to go along with this. Not one person had the balls to resign in protest.
I find it interesting that even Lanny Davis, who constantly reminds everyone that he supports Obama, is saying Obama needs to explain why this trade was done.

You bring up salient questions, but we can’t even get one journalist to ask the idiot how he figures that other presidents did the same thing? Lincoln, Washington, FDR. They did no such thing. I think Washington may have paroled some prisoners after taking their arms and sending them back to England, but even that I doubt.

No reason to be despondent. Once you step back and critically evaluate the way things are versus the way you wish they were, other possibilities start to present themselves.
The desire to live ones life peaceably, to keep the fruits of ones labors, and to do as you wish so long as it doesn’t unreasonably interfere with the lives of others* ...that is to say the desire to live conservatively and in liberty is not going away. The question is how to achieve it, preferably while we’re still living, given that we’re living in a country where such views are in the minority. One possibility that holds promise is contained in my tag line. There are others.

A story surfaced a couple of weeks ago about the State Dept. is $5 or $6 Million short. The money went missing while Hillary was in power.

Too many critical incidences happening in this short time line to be coincidential:
1. Obama goes to Afghanistan on a surprise visit. 2. CIA Station Chief is outed (oops). 3. A deal is made for a known deserter they didn’t know was a deserter with possible Talibani leanings (oops). 4. WH forgets to tell Congress (oops. 5. WH frees five top terrorists, allegedly transfers $5M into the enemy’s bank account, and brings Bergdahl home.
I know Michelle Malkin cruises FR. You can’t fire the CIA Chief of Station for disagreeing with the trade, but if you out him its the same thing, right?
