DISTRACTING US WITH GI(HAD) JOE
Original Content | June 2, 2014 | By Laz A. Mataz

This weekend, Obama swapped five dangerous Taliban commanders for one questionable American soldier.

The five Taliban commanders are: Mullah Mohammad Fazl (Taliban army chief of staff), Mullah Norullah Noori (senior Taliban military commander), Abdul Haq Wasiq (Taliban deputy minister of intelligence), Khairullah Khairkhwa (Taliban governor of the Herat province and former interior minister), and Mohammed Nabi (senior Taliban figure and security official).

In return, we got one America soldier who, his peers write, abandoned his post to join the Taliban, and who's Islamic-beard-adorned father has worked tirelessly to release more terrorists.

Immediately after this, we have Hagel and Rice 'gaslighting' us with absurd statements, Hagel claiming we did not negotiate with terrorists, when negotiating with terrorists to secure the soldiers release, and Rice claiming that a soldier who deserted his post to join the enemy served the United States with honor and distinction.

It appears that the Islamic-supporting Obama administration gets a three-fer on this one. They get to release five of America's most dangerous enemies; free a radicalized American soldier; and distract from the looming scandals of Benghazi and the Veterans Administration veteran deaths. The Obama administration also gets people talking about this, rather than the new, radical EPA anti-constitutional 'Carbon Cap and Trade' scheme.

This appears to be the modus operandi of the Obama administration: Commit as many scandals as possible, to overwhelm the public and keep a constantly-shifting target. One cannot properly investigate one act of outright treason with this group, because they commit five more acts of treason before nightfall, and freely publicize them so that you are too outraged about those acts, to pursue the original one. We cannot allow Obama to distract us from other scandals by waving around his GI(had) Joe doll.

This is the Cloward-Piven strategy, of overwhelming the system -- but instead of applying Cloward-Piven to the economic state of the country, Obama is applying it to the legal system and enjoying acts of treason.

What is the solution to this Cloward-Piven treason-overload? Pick the very worst act of treason, and pursue it until prosecution is complete. When in front of the press, speak to no other issue. Do not answer the press's questions on the topic at hand, but direct them back to your investigation of treason.

I’m glad you fully supported what those fools did, since they made it nigh impossible to impeach the current criminal in office or any other down the road. But hey, you got to feel good about gutting the biggest check on the executive like a trout. That’s all that matters.

Unfortunately and to America’s shame we in fact do leave our soldiers behind.

Look into and check out on Amazon

Operation Keelhaul (WWII) - plenty of info on the web to sort through - not all mention the possibility of the US leaving over 10 to 20 thousand US troops knowingly behind in the Soviet Union.

Soldiers of Misfortune: Washington’s Secret Betrayal of American POWs in the Soviet Union [Hardcover]

Kiss the Boys Goodbye: How the United States Betrayed Its Own POWs in Vietnam

I’m not Anti-American or a dem just dealing with ugly truths
rather than patriotic but naive perceptions.

I remember reading recently about a congressman who struggled with the impeachment and decided that he had to do the right thing, no matter what. Allowing a president to get away with lying under oath wasn’t the right thing to do. No matter how it affects future presidential lawlessness.

Anyone who thinks zero would be impeached “if only bubba hadn’t been impeached” is truly delusional.

The Carbon Cap will put it to the economy too.

Fuel prices have already about doubled, and it’s raising the cost of everything else.

23% fewer Americans have full time jobs than in January of 2009.

Takes a heck of a lot to make Mr. Peanut look good, but Obama has left him in the dust.

Carter and Clinton didn't WANT to commit acts of treason,

Carter most likely, but I'm not so certain about Mr. "I loathe the military". He and BroomHillary were left wing blame American first types from their time in college.

Surely this qualifies as a high crime or misdemeanor.

It qualifies as treason, which is a high crime, but one of only two actually enumerated in the Constitution, the other being bribery. So there can be no getting around it being a high crime, it is one by Constitutional definition.

Treason is the only crime defined in the Constitution

Article 3, Section. 3.

Treason against the United States shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.

Slick’s bungled impeachment ruined the chance of any president ever being impeached again. Carry water for those losers and failures who screwed that pooch all you want. They were and are failures. They are such failures that if there was ever a contest for the biggest collective failure they would come in 2nd place because they are such colossal failures.

What the heck is going on in today’s Army when a deserter gets promoted (twice) while AWOL?????

We badly need to fire some of these careerist generals.

Obama should be such an embarrassment to Blacks

He's half white. Very few Americans don't share one or the other, or or both. Even "Latinos"(Mestizos) are a mix of "red" and "white". Our extended family has all 3, and only some of the "red" comes through the "Hispanic" line.

He's an embarrassment to all of us.

"....Rice claiming that a soldier who deserted his post to join the enemy served the United States with honor and distinction."

This is especially disgusting. WHY is this utter moron still getting a paycheck?

NEAT!

I'm famous!!!!!

Lookee there. :)

Truly, this is the first time I have seen my article sourced here, posted elsewhere.

If this trend continues, FR will (eventually) be known as an opinion-piece SOURCE, and that will be a good thing. :)

Now we have Steve Berman stealing my concepts, claiming not to have seen them, and refusing to post his posts in his underwear.

Posting my essays in my underwear should earn me the Nobel Prize for Pulitzer Peabodying.
