California's government is indeed broke, and so are many of the city governments here. But most of the people who live in the Bay Area are anything but broke, and they're the ones who own the houses, which are anything but run down or dinky. And it's a very nice, warm day here too - typical beautiful California weather - the one thing liberal policies can't touch.
