Nearly 60 percent of the guns were brought in other states. Almost 20 percent came from four gun shops near Chicago — three in the suburbs and one in Gary.

Since it is likely a considerable portion of the remainder are stolen, it's difficult to see how anything the city of Chicago can do would make any significant impact.

It makes no difference where the guns were purchased. The vast majority of the guns used to commit crimes are stolen and bought on the black market -— not in gun shops.

No matter how bad the results of a liberal program or law, the liberal always says that the only reason it failed was that it did not go far enough. More money and more laws would have made it a success.

They never ever. no matter how bad the results, admit they were wrong.

Bunk. You can’t buy handguns across state lines, Plus, if in Illinois, you must have a FOID.
