Yes, the illogic defies reason. Ask any Muslim if they think God is just. Of course, they reply. So why would He condemn anyone for accidentally ingesting-not the meat known as pork, but a by-product that happens to come from that animal? I have asked this question a few times of Muslims. After all, didn't God the perfect Being, create this animal? Isn't it obvious that such animals must have a purpose?
