Every one of these freakin' articles contains a statement like this, or something similar. I wish they'd tell me where they get the idea that Obama is all that smart politically. I mean, the guy can't even give a speech unless he reads it from a teleprompter, words written by someone else. How smart is that for a politician? He divides rather than unites, polarizes rather than building consensus, confronts rather than compromises. He's rather make enemies than make a deal that gets something useful done. All of those things do not a smart political leader make.
