How long before some of Bloomberg’s $50 million will be used to exploit this tragedy?

The mass killing comes about 13 years after a former UC Santa Barbara student drove his car through a crowd of people in Isla Vista, killing four. David Attias was convicted on four counts of second-degree murder and sentenced to a state mental hospital.

People in Isla Vista must be really rude.

Well, folks like Bloomberg have effectively unarmed the citizens that would have otherwise filled the perp with lead ... on the spot.

Never mind the fact that he started the rampage by taking a machete and a hammer to his roommates! Some of the victims family members are calling for more gun control. And that would have done what exactly?

What about hammer and machete control? Give me a break! I feel for the victims families but come on! They are placing the blame in all of the wrong places as usual. Just confiscate the guns and all of the violence will go away! Yeah right!

We have a real mental illness problem in this country of ours. People really need to be asking themselves why this is happening instead of focusing on the weapons used.
