Exit question: Does McConnell’s plan to repeal ObamaCare also include repealing Kentucky’s state insurance exchange? Oddly, he’s noncommittal on the question.

Oddly? Oddly? Nothing odd about it, this is vintage McConnell SOP. Clue: McConnell has NO plan or desire to repeal ObamaCare.

I'm certainly not voting for "Harry's Bitch" Mitch, but I damn sure ain't voting for Grimes. She was in town this week promising jobs to everyone. People are so stupid.

"...McConnell is sufficiently worried about tea partiers staying home that he’s already trotting out Rand Paul"

Paul can trot all he wants, I don't much care what happens with McConnell.

This always gets real contentious here, but I still think Mitch McConnell is better than the Democrat. Mitch’s conservative ratings are not nearly as bad as some claim. I know some say Mitch games his votes so as to appear more conservative, but when it counts, he’s against us. Nevertheless, I think it’s better to keep this Republican senate seat. That does not mean we have to support Mitch as leader BTW.

One thing that grates on me in particular is the way Mitch came down on the tea party. Like many in the GOPe, they seem to reserve their worst ire for conservatives rather than Democrats. That bothers me...a lot. On the other hand, the tea party conservatives didn’t exactly play kissy kiss with Mitch. We, in fact, pretty much declared war on him, and he fought back as anyone would do.

Now it’s up to Mitch McConnell to make peace. Based on his prior votes, he’s at least 80% our ally. That’s good enough for me even though I know my attitude will piss some FReepers off. My philosophy is to give ‘em hell in the primaries and then pick the best possible candidate to advance the conservative agenda. If someone can make a plausible case for the Democrat being better for that (advancing conservatism), I’ll listen, but otherwise I’m sticking with the GOPe in cases like this (Exception: House races where we really can afford to sacrifice a seat or two to take down a RINO).

I’ve said this many times, primary the RINOs, if we lose the primary, vote for the DEMOCRAT! This WILL get rid of McConnell.

Do you have the balls to do it? Time to show the RINOs that we mean business.

But we might win the Senate. Yeah, and a moderate nominee will win us the presidency.

ENOUGH already! Time to play tough. Time to do what it takes to purge these RINOs from the GOP.

Getting rid of McConnell in this manner will scare the crap out of the rest of them and take us seriously from then on.

It’s interesting, though, that McConnell is sufficiently worried about tea partiers staying home that he’s already trotting out Rand Paul to make the case for unity.

Paul was an early and eager McConnell supporter, he jumped on his team early, 14 months ago.

But like every other Democrat, you will vote 100% for everything this Marxist president wants. Look at Manchin’s and Pryor’s voting records. They carry Obama’s water as faithfully as Charles Schumer and Elijah Cummings do.

I’d vote for the Democrat myself, since it’s now the only way to get rid of Mick.

want Republicans and Democrats to work together

NO! That is the problem with establishment Republicans; they are willing to “work together” with Dims to further the Dim agenda, just not as fast as the Dims want to do! We want Republicans to STOP the Dim agenda!

Why not? Its what leftwing Republicans have done like Dede Scozzafeva, Mike Castle, Virginia Republicans supported Mcauliff after opposing Cuccinelli and last there are Republicans politicians supporting Michelle Nunn!

Whether they join her or not, if they stay home in droves it will have the same effect

I kind of hope they all do go vote for the dimorat. That way the RINOs will KNOW that they can no longer take us for granted. If some of the dims did the same the country would be better for it.

We cannot go around talking about how the African American community is on a plantation voting for the rats who fail them all the time and then act the same way with our own side. Time to revolt at the ballot box. VOTE THE INCUMBENTS OUT.

No one should be in DC as a career (except maybe the cops)

Ditch McConnell lies about Matt Bevin, attacked his supporters, and now demands the support of the Bevin camp.

Mitch McConnell has NO plan to repeal Obamacare. He plans to "reform" it and keep the main parts of it in place.

I, too, want Republicans and Democrats to work together...

It's never "work together" to advance the Republican agenda.

And it's never "work together" coming from Republicans to pressure Democrats to join them in the Republican agenda.

That's why it's time to retire the Republican leadership. They have been "Stockholmed' into thinking that they have to be the first to break to the opposition's demands.

They simply don't have the willpower to hold out longer than Democrats.

If you can't take Mitch McConnell out in the Primary, then take him out in the General.
Vote AGAINST Mitch McConnell for whoever you think has the best chance of defeating him.
We can replace the liberal next time around.
A RINO "Establishment Republican" is WORSE than a Democrat because he'll never do what he says he'll do.
