Unfortunately there were probably a lot of Democrats who hadn’t planned to vote until Palin was added to the ticket. Many Democrats considered McCain kind of harmless but reacted strongly to Palin in a negative way.

I wasn’t really sure Jesus is a Republican until now.

Being offended by Meghan's use of 'Jesus' in her comments is similar to being offended by the Beatles claiming they were more famous than 'Jesus'.
Can we all say "sarcastic hyperbole"?
Can we all agree that any person of notoriety who goes on record being offended by Meghan's use of 'Jesus' will be declared a prude and thin-skinned by the American public?

And when McCain went to Washington to "do something" about the financial crisis and ended up just agreeing with the Wall Street cronies that they should be bailed out at the taxpayers' expense, all of the moderates realized he was not the maverick he claimed to be.
Why put another white puppet in office when a black puppet will do the same, and everyone can pat themselves on the back for no longer being racist?

great point.
actually mccain was leading when he ‘suspended’ his campaign to make the dramatic run back to DC about a month before the election.
when he restarted the campaign he quickly lost the lead and never gained any momentum.
it could be fairly argued that obozo never really sealed the deal to win the election but it was mccain’s stupidity that was the gamechanger in 08.
obama or mccain. America’s nightmare.

Given how that idiot ran his campaign, she’s probably right. But if he didn’t have Sarah as his running mate, the loss would have been epic.

She flatulates from the wrong end of her body. Family trait. Maybe Obamacare can fix it.

I cut her some slack, too. Her father is a very unappealing candidate so anyone running with him might not have helped.
Meghan might have been right but for the wrong reasons.

You’re exactly right. If he hadn’t picked Palin, he would have come in third.

The notion that Palin hurt McCain in any way is laughable. Her crowds were larger than his and she was the reason many of us held our noses and voted for that idiot McCain.

Without Palin, he would have lost 49 states (or 56, if you are a Messiah supporter).

John McCain screwing over Conservatives for Decades.
I can only imagine what it would have been like without Sarah.
Sarah remains the last best hope for America.

I was not voting for McCain. I did when Palin was added to the ticket. I am not the only one. They can spin this top for as long as they want it won't change the facts.
