I first heard Dupree on Neil Boortz, who was based out of WSB in Atlanta. Herman Cain, also out of Atlanta and syndicated as well, inherited Dupree from Boortz, apparently; Dupree does DC reporting for Herman like he does for Hannity.

I agree with you, I don't like Dupree either. He makes excuses for liberal misdeeds by always trying to say the Repubs do it too. (Maybe they do, but not as bad, and two wrongs don't make a right anyway!)

Hannity's banter with his crew is excruciatingly bad radio. I first heard that format from Glenn Beck and his crew. I don't like it there either (forced jokes, obvious comments, etc.) but at least with Beck it's not unlistenable like with Hannity.

Rush does talk radio the best. He has writers who prepare a "stack of stuff" for him every day, he's well prepared, and he gives out interesting info.

Agree. I know Rush is a hard act to follow, but Sean could easily make a few changes/improvements, for the better. Sean has the talent, his show just needs some tweaking.

Beck’s sidekicks do a very good show when Beck is away. They are very funny when on their own.

Rush gives out stuff that is **safe**!

Even to this day he uses the words “Marxists” or “communist” very rarely....yet...that is what they are. Marxists, communists, and fascists.

Mark Levin and Rush are the best on radio in my opinion. Never miss either of their programs. You learn important information from each of these men. I also feel the same about Glenn Beck, that is, when he devotes his entire show to substance, and doesn't fool around with his sidekicks to the extent that he does. Humor and some levity is important, I know, but the yucks are too much sometimes. When I use to watch Glenn on Fox, with his blackboard, and all the info about who the left was, he was simply the best and I learned. And his humor on that show was to a minimum..it was Glenn and no one else to carry the show and impart the info. And when I catch his show on radio, and he is devoting the whole program to informative material, he is one of the best.

I listened to Boortz before he was syndicated. Jamie Dupree was WSB’s Washington reporter. He came on with Boortz in the information overload hour, the noon-1PM time slot that a lot of the syndicated stations didn’t carry. Dupree is pretty knowledgeable, but definitely a Lib. Not as hardcore as many in his business, but still a Lib.
