This counts as a “tea party” win, right?

It’s a great story, thanks for posting it!

Want a republican president? Run a conservative. You saw my list. I'm not waiting on the 2nd coming for a perfect man. It's a pretty damn reasonable test, unless you are a liberal republican.

You and your ilk saddled this country with Obama by running Romney, who is a liberal.

You'll do the same damn thing with Bush or Christie and let Hillary win.

WV will lose a House seat after the 2020 Census, so the 2022 congressional elections in WV will be particularly interesting. And I suspect that Mooney will run for the U.S. Senate before then.

So it’s a good thing that Saira will be 26 and have 8 years of experience in the state legislature by then. Although it’s likely that she will have cast at least a couple of sub-optimal votes in those 8 years, so we’ll have a cadre of FReepers insisting that he 99.9% conservative record makes her unacceptable and that we should instead support Ted Kennedy’s second cousin once removed, the unemployed periodontist who didn’t even register to vote until the prior year (and, yes, it would be particularly ironic for Saira to lose to some unknown “Cousin Milton” type when she herself just won despite having no record and not even being registered to vote).

Way to build a straw man.

Maybe the GOP should try running pro-life, pro-gun, anti-amnesty, smaller government, anti socialized medicine candidates if they want to win.

Don't blame conservative voters if they won't vote for your pro-abortion candidate.

Why stand for principle against pro-abort, pro-fag, pro-socialized medicine, anti-gun candidates when you can vote for one, ala romeny, yourself?

You're what I call a Sesame Street Voter......today's election is brought to you by the letter (R). That's all you people look for; just nod in agreement like a drooling three year old and pick the letter (R).

No better than the gibsmedat crowd pulling the lever for (D).

Be no damn wonder this country is in the shape it is in.......the fools we have selecting "representatives" and all.

Please name the pro-abortion candidates that I support.

Also, please name the sins of Pat Roberts that justify wanting to replace him with some random guy with no record but who claims to be conservative.

Romney had a history of supporting abortion.

I'm not trying to replace Pat Roberts, so you'll have to ask the people trying to replace him.

Is he pro-life, pro-gun, have a history of reducing the size of government, voted against Obamacare (and all the cloture votes), and against amnesty?

I blame the GOP for running a loser. Blaming the voters is a cop-out. Running Romney is what helped get Obama elected, as did running McCain. The party is a failure.

You can see why I couldn't vote for Romney. ;)

so your vote....non vote....went for Obama.....I NEVER will understand that mentality

Tell me something I don’t know. But what does Willard have to do with this discussion ? Nobody is supporting a pro-abort candidate, certainly not Auh2orepublican.

I voted for Virgil Goode for President. Why Conservatives wouldn’t vote for Willard is simple: they don’t vote for chronic liars or Socialists. Willard is both.

Nope. You can only vote FOR a candidate. Want to win? Run a conservative.

Romney had a history of being pro-abortion and anti-gun. He fails the test right there without getting to the socialized medicine question.

My test isn't difficult. I'm not waiting on a perfect candidate. Just one that meets those simple little tests.

Romney had a history of supporting abortion

yes he did, however he came out and said that he hed reconsidered the issue and after soulsearching it, he had decided that he had been in error and changed his opinion....I'll buy that!!

I didn't buy what the liar said. But the anti-gun legislation and the socialized medicine thing knocked him out of the running for my vote, too.

He was a freaking liberal. Just like Obama is a liberal. And you are chastising me for not voting for the pro-abort, anti-gun, socialized medicine liberal.

Think about it.

No!

Obama is not a liberal. Bath-house Barry is a seething communist, moslem, anti-American packer....a serial traitor! Practically any other RAT would have made a better president, never mind a part time Republican.

They are NOT morally equivalent.

We may never recover from your folly.

Your folly. Your party nominated Willard, after being told that conservatives wouldn't vote for him.

Your party is set to do the same thing with Hillary and run a liberal against her.
