Seems to me that some sort of GPS based meter would be in every registered California car. Being a Nevada resident and having my car registered in Nevada I could pop over to California and get some tax free gas. If a car registered drove in another state would they still be dinged for the mileage?

Yeah, put that meter in my 970 Opel GT. And I am just crazy enough to have a spare points distributor sitting around so I can drive after a nuke or EMP...or after a Democrat tax scheme.

They will drop the Fuel Tax to get the mileage tax implemented, people will be happy
to allow the state to do this. But, once this mileage tax has been initiated it will never
be repealed and they will bring back the per gallon tax. This is all a big scam by the Gov.

Then they'll build more monuments to themselves and not fix the Highways,
perpetuating the situation to bring in more tax hikes.
