people trust government to solve some perceived problem . but people don't realize that government is worse than any problem real or imaginary. And almost all of those problems are imaginary anyway

It could all simply be that the generation currently in governing age has a monstrous chip on its shoulder and just wants to cause as much pain to other people as possible. Sounds a lot like now-jaded and disappointed former ‘60s and ‘70s radicals, doesn’t it?
