Many people moved because they feared the worst. Generally speaking, they their country and how bad it really is. It probably is somewhat better in reality than how it is often portrayed.

I wish them well and hope it can be made to work.

I wish anyone well who moves for a just cause.

I know a white woman who moved to my state from South Africa on a one year work visa that was extended to a second and last year. In her time here she became a figurative member of the family i.e. a member of the family.

She never said this, but it was obvious to anyone who cared to look that her goal was to marry a US citizen so she would not have to go back to South Africa.

She has told me some horror stories about her home town such that I wouldn't wish them on my worst enemy.

She did marry that guy. They have been married about four years and have one child.

I think the world of her and think she is a resounding asset to the United States. I hope she never gets the urge to draw her family back to her roots.

I believe her stories of her home town.

If another soul thinks he or she can go to such an environment and improve things, the only thing I can say is, "May God go with you," and offer encouragement.

I used to work with some people that left south africa. In every class at school there were 1 or 2 kids who had lost a parent to murder. Every class

They left when a neighbor was murdered despite having 12 foot tall fences around the neighborhood and four armed guards for 60 houses.

About 10 people and they all had the same stories.
