He also endorsed Collins in the race against the commie democrat Shenna Bellows.

Harry Reid has to go.

Pauls are very good at winning straw polls.

Don’t the Pauls always win the straw polls? The Paulistas are good at rigging the vote for their guy but have a harder time in the actual election.

Wow, Pauls and polls, and Rand Paul is campaigning for Susan Collins.

What a floundering rino he has become.

All I care about it cutting the poverty-creating, slavish $4 trillion government by at least 80% (=$800 billion - still to big, but it's a start) and replacing it with the CLEAR ALTERNATIVE: THE WEALTH-CREATING VOLUNTARY FREE MARKET ECONOMY. This is BY FAR the #1 POLITICAL ISSUE.

So far to me, Rand has best articulated the focus on doing this.

It’s not hard to bus in a few hundred people to vote for you in the straw poll. Ron Paul did it all the time, and used to win the CPAC straw poll every year.

Typically, Ron Paul would get something like 70% in a straw poll, and then in a real election would get about 2 or 3%.

It looks like Rand Paul learned from his daddy.

Not surprising. I have always thought it a little strange that “libertarians” are at heart big-government people; they just want the government to approve of whatever it is they want to do, which is usually something involving drugs. They want no moral restrictions on anything. Paul has already said that the GOP has got to abandon the “social issues,” by which I assume he means opposition to abortion and opposition to the destruction of marriage, so of course he’s going to be popular in Maine and popular with liberals.

Meaningless. Too many white voters in Maine. Paul is not impressed.

Bangor Maine might as well as be in outer space in terms of it's relevance to the demographics of the rest of America.

Once again, outliers are being promoted as relevant by the blue bloods and country clubbers running the RNC.

I’d be thrilled to vote for any of the top three: Paul, Cruz, or Walker. No Bushes or Chrispie Crempuff.

Susie Collins? Is she really the best we can do?

Once this simpleton gets to DC, she starts thinking she's Barbara Boxer. Her real job was to make Olympia Snow look good. Now that Olympia is over, what is the point of her cheerleader and acolyte hanging around?

Hold your nose, vote for her. I suppose she's marginally somehow better than having a commie in the job. BTW, if the RNC really wants this seat, they had better fork over some dough to dum-dum. The com-symp is outspending her 3-1.
