I’m hoping that Lindsey Graham gets beaten in the primary. But if he wins, I hope that he beats the democrat.

1. Lindsey Graham IS the defacto Democrat candidate as well as Republican Incumbent.

2. Not many S.C. conservatives agree with you.

Under Graham, political respect for South Carolina has been circling the toilet bowl anyway. You and I, even as conservatives, disagree on whether it's best for America that S.C. re-elect LG or suffer a new Dem Senator.

Political expediency be hanged; we...are...sick...of...this!

So the cards will fall where they fall.

Needs to be the continuing mantra of conservatives on FR. Electing fake conservatives (mostly Republicans) has brought us to this brink.

The Soviets used to call people nuts that disagreed with their intentions too. then imprisoned them. Even when there was picture proof.

Just sayin’...

He has Tokyo Rove as a campaign advisor. If you are going to attack the GOP base, you will LOSE. See Dole, McAmnesty, and Mittens for results.

Some of us have taken the abuse from the lib supporting wing of FR for a couple solid years now for refusing to let them stemroll their RINO crap over us all. It would be nice if people helped us tell them all to go pound sand no matter how many liberal wannabees scream bad names.

People either believe in principle or they are ethically flexible. Ethical flexibility is not compatable with conservatism.

No way around it unless one lies.

OK,fair enough. You're correct to note that citing stats can sometimes be rather abstract and difficult to understand.

That's not it. The percentages were understandable the first time you posted them. I could not read the rest of what you wrote; eyestrain. Actually, I didn't want to anyway; don't care. Cannot vote there anyway. This thread is mostly about Rand Paul's current activities.

No,you can't vote there. But events there affect everyone in the nation. In fact events in California...Texas...Hawaii...every part of the country affect you.Imagine a "RINO" Republican (one who votes correctly 50% of the time) replacing Babs Boxer in California, for example.Imagine Texas's Electoral Votes going to the former Twelfth Lady in December 2016 instead of the Republican.

Does that cure your eyestrain?

The point is you can’t do anything if you in the tyranny that is Washington ‘democracy’ if you don’t have a majority on anything.

Support the liberal republicans to get them elected, then Push and prod them into doing smart things. That is really all we can ever do!

Where we don’t need to compromise is where we can elect Conservative republicans like in South Carolina.

Never-forget Politics is the art of the possible not the desirable. We must be pragmatic or we will be hopeless. There are a number of things we NEED to do in Washington before we can move forward with other plans.

They are minor and perhaps even disagreeable things that need to be done to some here. But that will change in time when theses people see how a socialist state abuses theses tools must now be downsized and abandoned. What I speak of course is the military both the Real one, and the so called ‘civilian’ army Obama has created among federal agency’s like the BLM to control and harass us into servitude. Which are of course just as dangerous a threat to liberty as any ‘traditional army’ of which they are practically indistinguishable except in that their goal is explicitly that of coerced subornation of an unwilling population.

Unless the real Federal army is downsized and distributed in a way that our States may be able to sease and uses its assets(Such as in the National Guard) then there is very little we can do to address and check this growing threat aside from hoping that elections will be both favorable liberty and legitimate which of course is a notion not supported by the history of socialized ‘democracy’.

We may all hope for the best in theses increasingly fraudulent election but we need a victory just long enough to weaken Washington’s real military foundation and allow a counterbalance to be build for uses when the situation gets really bad. If Economic freedom is to survive and be reborn in this country without compete collapse, there MUST be pockets of economic liberty from which to compete.

We can do that in Certain States, provide those states are able to defend their polices from Washington.

No more Pauls!

Or Bushes!

Unfortunately, conservatives are still in the minority, though. That's what the GOPe tells us. We shall see.

What you wrote in Post 59 sounds sensible and reasonable. But...

We conservatives have been sensible and reasonable for many elections and this is where we have arrived. This is where we now stand.

Oh,I get it.You're another one of these "if Palin or Reagan isn't on the ballot in November I'm staying home" types.

Tragic. But keep you chin up...Osama Obama and his ilk are counting on you to keep up the good work.
