It seems the lamestream media of obamanation will lie and deceive the simple mush minded of the nation with impunity as they are and have been doing since the feminists took over and have been destroying this nation more effectively than a stanking army ever could have hoped to do.

Well written. And it certainly needs to be said. I find it discouraging how easily the racist manipulators in the lamestream press can destroy conservative reputations, even among Freepers.

One wrong word, and whoever they attack is finished.

Nonsense. What he said was perfectly true. LBJ and his Democrat Plantation, which broke up black families and perverted or destroyed their culture, is in many ways worse than slavery.

That is not to say that slavery is supportable or excusable. It merely points out how EVIL the Democrat manipulation of black culture has been.

It’s not accidental that the Democrats were, in fact, the chief supporters of slavery and Jim Crow laws—until they saw a way to enslave blacks and put them back on the plantation through political manipulation and misuse of taxpayer money.

And conservatives are dropping Cliven Bundy like a hot potato because he didn’t say this carefully enough, using the right language? Language which the Orwellian left is constantly changing, so as to trap the opposition?

What a load of horse manure.

Sorry, it was a standing army. Half of the nation is at war and the other half has their heads buried in the sand with their butts bare ass naked up in the air for easier kicking. The racist obama regime is on the warpath and must be dealt with according to their racist hatred for those who work hard and profit therein.
It is time for the conservatives to pick their own candidate for President for a change as the right is sick of all the pantywaist conservatives put up the the rino left.
I feel ex Governor Huckabee would be great for all parties of the right wing and he would fight the good fight and is not a proud and arrogant man as so many of the liberal rino right wingers are.

Why wouldn’t Ted Baxter use the NY Slimes?

Didn’t Cliven Bundy volunteer his statement, unsolicited? If he did, then he made a grave mistake - one that even he could have easily avoided.

If he was led into making the statement, and I don’t believe he was, then that puts it in a different light, and I’m much more forgiving of his error.

No doubt, the liberals would have certainly tried to lure him into such a trap - and it may have happened anyway - but with all the examples out there of how they bring down an opponent, and where they most like to attack, shouldn’t he have known better than to hand it all to them voluntarily?

If I have it wrong, about him not being led into the trap, then I’m happy to be corrected on that aspect of the matter.

I agree with almost your entire post - except this. It wasn't a case of saying it the “right” way or the “wrong” way. It needn't have been said at all.

Was he right in what he said? I think so.
Was he right in saying it? Not strategically speaking. There was no upside to his comments, even if he had been heard absolutely correctly by sympathetic listeners - none.

In terms of winning his point and loosening the federal stranglehold on private citizens - it was a foolish thing to say; obviously incendiary with no chance of helping his case.

A caveat, if he was led into making the statement, I am more sympathetic.

We’ll have see how Vanity and the rest two step on Monday. I predict that Beck will look straight into the camera and say “isn’t it shameful how these Conservatives were duped? I’ve stood with Mr Bundy all along.”

...the spinelessness which continues to ulcerate the Republican Party and those phonies who claim to stand for its long forgotten guiding principles...I was especially sad to see Krauthammer abandon Bundy so ferociously on Fox last week - as a psychiatrist he is doubtless very familiar with the concept of institutionalization, the idea that some people can becomes so acclimated to a bad situation such as a mental hospital or penitentiary that even when given the chance to leave, they wish to remain, and in fact can function very poorly outside the setting without considerable time and "rehabilitation" - and then there was the program I watched on the History Channel last weekend about the captivity of the Jewish people by the Egyptians. Though many Jews were held in slavery, the Egyptian law required that they be freed after six years of servitude. But a good number supposedly found the conditions under slavery less onerous than they would face if free, and often petitioned to remain with their masters. Bundy was only expressing a viewpoint similar to this - that for some slavery might not have been as destructive and threatening as what they faced when given their freedom - he expressed it without much articulateness and eloquence, but it is sad that more didn't want to take the time to try to hear what he was really saying - especially those who supposedly once made a living listening to and trying to understand others....

VERY WELL SAID!!!

But the use of these two words as well as several others, is prohibited in any sentence or phrase subjecting in race. Cliven Bundy missed that memo.

I put that memo in the shredder and burned the chads.

Speak the truth. Repeat the truth when challenged. Never back down, never apologize. The Truth will make you free.
