Study Links California Drought To Global Climate Change
CBS Local Sacramento ^ | April 24, 2014

While researchers have sometimes connected weather extremes to man-made global warming, usually it’s not done in real time. Now a study is asserting a link between climate change and both the intensifying California drought and the polar vortex blamed for a harsh winter that mercifully has just ended in many places.

The Utah State University scientists involved in the study say they hope what they found can help them predict the next big weird winter.

The study: Gee, it’s dry. Must be climate change. Give us more money.

The drought in California is caused by illegal immigration.

Prove me wrong.

Climate is always changing because everything changes in time. The idea that we are causing it doesn't work because it has gone through these "cycles" before.

We're soooooo ignorant and unwilling to say "we simply don't know"....probably because no one can write on the subject on that finding.

The arrogant will expound....to no effect.

Study Links California Drought To Global Climate Change

The same study would link the floods to global warming and will when the drought ends.

El Nino is supposed to happen this year.

Heavy rains later this year, if so...

Just saying.

Climate is studied over hundreds and thousands of years. These frauds look out their city windows for 10 minutes and have all the answers......

BS. There is no proven science or even a secure tested theory that was developed with the proper scientific methods. None, not a single one.

But based on their wild ass guesses they have caused hundreds of thousands of people to loose their jobs. They should be take out and beaten not worshiped.

Certainly wouldn’t pretend to say what causes the drought other than to say it maybe didn’t rain as much in the past. So many people have been added to California that even if we had the same amount of rain as in the past it still wouldn’t be enough to make up the difference in consumption.

I have always felt that the addition of all the solar panels and wind farms has to have some effect on the wind currents. Wish someone would prove me wrong on that issue.

I heard in Peru, there are records of “El Nino’s” going back 700 years.

As for California, there were droughts in the 19th century and earlier that were far worse than the current situation.
And there wasn’t a single internal combustion engine anywhere in the world at that point in time.

John Steinbeck set most of his novels in California, and within at least one of his novels he talks about the periodic periods of drought.

Is drought new in California? No more than any other area that experiences periodic droughts, as the climate cycle continues unending movement.

Funny thing about “global warming”. In the 1800’s oranges were grown extensively in north Florida. After a blizzard in 1899, the orange groves were moved to the Orlando area. After severe cold snaps in the 1960’s and 70’s, the groves moved even further south.

If anything we are experiencing cooling.

You may have something there. Count the population in the affected region pre-drought and now. Tally the percentage of estimated illegal aliens during the same time periods, add at least 10 % for the ones they didn’t catch, compare, and do the math
