He is waiting to heal and then the bandages come off May 9.
Then they will activate the implant and then he has to go through a battery of calibration testing so they can map the audio and program the implant.
He has a way to go.

I understand losing your hearing..I only had like 10% hearing for over a year. Had Otosclerosis in both ears.....so they did Stapedectomies.....wow...like being reborn.

What is your synopsis of that whole story? I’m not paying much attention to it, but heard that all they have to do is pay grazing fees and everything will be ok. But, they feel they shouldn’t have too because of some grandfathering?
