BUMP !!!
Story at link does not say: who were the other Republican candidates in the poll and how did they fare against Hillary?
I too have noticed the hit pieces. I also expect more from the left and the GOP establishment. I am beginning to think the only person who can beat HC is Paul, assuming he doesn’t make any absurd comments.
sheesh....if that were the choice, I’d probably not vote.
Dope Smokers for Rand. Plus he appeals to some of the same homosexuals that Hillary Clinton appeals to.
I don’t want to antagonize you about Rand Paul. As a supporter, you should write him and encourage him to clarify his remarks about amnesty, life, McConnell vs Bevin, gay marriage, etc.
Even if you can say, “you need to listen more carefully...”, that isn’t the issue. Most people won’t go back and “listen more carefully.”
He needs to put out a clear position paper. I want to know. So do many others. I’m open to supporting him if these things get correctly answered. (Although Cruz will remain my favorite.)
He is not perfect and is not my first choice but he is infinitely better than what the Establishment is going to foist upon us.
The thing to look out for is how much the Republicrat/Dumbocan Party leaders and the Corporate Media attack him. If they all gang up on him then you know he is legit.
I know there’s a distaste for Senator Rand Paul in here, but I’ve maintained consistently that he is one of the few potential GOP candidates who understands the need to make inroads on the black, Hispanic, and youth votes, and in addition is making an honest effort to do just that.
Personally I think Hillary will be defeated by almost anyone the GOP runs this time around, but this poll indicates that Senator Paul could be a very formidable candidate.
Plus, I’d be extremely surprised if he didn’t try to pare the federal government down significantly if he wins and has a GOP Congress behind him.
An open borders/amnesty libertarian will NEVER get the Republican nomination. It’s that simple.
“Does Rand Paul support amnesty? Yes.” http://www.frontpagemag.com/2013/dgreenfield/does-rand-paul-support-amnesty-yes-he-does/
Hillary Clinton does not need Colorado to get to 270 electoral votes. These 14 states plus D.C., won by Obama in 2012 could put her in the Oval Office like Monica Lewinsky.
Primarily because of the increase in the Latino share of the electorate, the Electoral College is currently rigged to favor the Democrats.
California: 55 Electoral votes (60% Obama in 2012)
New York: 29 (63% Obama)
Florida: 29 (50% Obama)
Illinois: 20 (58% Obama)
Pennsylvania: 20 (52% Obama)
Ohio: 18 (51% Obama)
Michigan: 16 (54% Obama)
New Jersey: 14 (58% Obama)
Virginia: 13 (51% Obama)
Washington: 12 (53% Obama)
Massachusetts: 11 (61% Obama)
Maryland: 10 (62% Obama)
Minnesota: 10 (53% Obama)
Wisconsin: 10 (53% Obama)
District of Columbia: 3 (91% Obama)
Total: 270 by 14 states & D.C. There are also other combinations of blue states that would get her there.
