President Obama did not attend the funeral of his late aunt Zeituni Onyango. Instead, he went golfing.
The New York Times reports:
After Zeituni Onyango, the woman President Obama once called Auntie, died in a South Boston nursing home this month, her closest relatives gathered her belongings at her nearby apartment. There, framed photographs of her with the president covered the wall.
Weeping before a polished wood coffin at her wake this past Saturday, they described Ms. Onyango, the half sister of the president’s father, as “the spirit of the Obama family” and talked about raising money to send her body back to Kenya. Mr. Obama helped pay funeral expenses and sent a condolence note, Ms. Onyango’s family members said, but the president did not attend, as he was golfing.
The paper notes that the president has kept his distance from his family:
As president, Mr. Obama has kept his distance from, and even failed to acknowledge, members of this eclectic clan. In the time-honored tradition of eccentric presidential relatives, the assorted Obamas have faced deportation and drunken-driving charges, started Obama-branded foundations and written memoirs.

That will always be interesting. The typical white granny who supposedly raised him because his mother was such a slime, dies, on election night, and Obama still parties. I think she might have been allowed to live if Obama had lost. She knew too much and she had to go. I also think it is interesting that in the years Obama had been married to Mooch, she and her children never visited the typical white granny. Obama shows up months after granny dies in Hawaii to supposedly throw her ashes in the ocean. Hmm, the media never mentioned much about it either. Nor did they question any of the oddities surrounding this.
Such a saccharine turn of phrase -- to describe that crowd of unsavory characters.

After the obamas went to Hawaii to bury the white granny, there were pictures of a very happy Moochelle jumping into baraq’s arms. They were very happy about that granny’s passing for some reason.
With all the crap going on in the world the NY Slimes and the Weekly Standard have to dwell on a story that Bam didn’t go to his aunt’s funeral. Quite frankly who gives a RAT’S @$$?
Check out schedule E of his taxes and the income from the trust in white granny’s name. Her daddy probably left her a bundle. he was no more just a bookkeeper then other was a goat herder. If we could only get to his probate records!

Auntie scammed the system pretty well, not only eluding deportation, but also tapping into the Medicaid program where the taxpayers paid for her hip replacement, cancer treatment and nursing home care. Too bad her millionaire POTUS nephew didn’t help out more. I wonder how much nephew contributed to Auntie’s funeral? My bet is his contribution to Auntie’s funeral was dwarfed by the money the taxpayers spent on her care.
