Texas has the most private land, most non-government owned land of any state. That is why it is the most prosperous and free of the states( no Texas state income tax etc.). government owning land is socialism. the media hides that the government owns more than a third of the land in the USA.Look at all the non-government land in Texas:
That map seems a bit off from my knowledge of NFS lands in Mich. and in Nye County, Nev.
