Cooks Mock and Fogle feeding the 208th ECB in July 1945, Berlin. I want to mention that from everything I have read and heard, the 208ths cooks were the best there was. I have seen several accounts of soldiers saying how good their cooks were. I also remember my Father saying he never ate so well as when in the army. I also know the cooks won an award while still in America as providing the best mess in the division, at least I think it was division.It does look like they are painting.
