The ten years between the 104th and 108th congresses is telling.

Anyone who believes the republican party still stands for conservative principles care to explain why the 104th was at least able to slow the growth of government, while the 108th accelerated it?

There are studies that suggest the exercise of coercive power over others is as addictive as cocaine.

Now imagine doing that above with other peoples money?!?!

There you have contemporary “liberals” as opposed to classic liberals.
