New Jersey is hardly a surprise, and hardly representative of the country. A red-state poll would interest me.

When it comes to Obamacare, the intuitive guess is that public opinion is very strong against it nationally, so strong that opponents would likely beat out supporters even in "blue" states.

Hey, when 'Rats are really horrendous, even New Jersey slaps them down. Remember John Corzine?

Corzine “walked”. Not much of a slapdown other than being ousted from office, and walking away a crook and a millionaire.

Did he ever get convicted of anything, and if so, do jail time? I’ve just forgotten in the rush of history.

But Obamacare is only horrendous to non-socialists, it seems, and Jersey is sufficiently socialistic that they’re willing to tolerate it so long as there are goodies in it that allegedly benefits them.
