Ahhh Pottsville. The area has always been a strong Democratic stronghold. Doesn’t surprise me in the least.
FYI: not making a crack at the area... both Mom and Dad grew up close by. The stories they told us about the towns when we were growing up would curl your hair.
Loved the part were they claim that he’ll be missed.
He was such a nice thief. LOL.
I used to work for an elected official who was in office almost as long as this guy. She was as honest as they come. Was manic about everything balancing. When she passed away several years ago and an audit was done, her records were close to perfect. She was a lifelong Republican of course and a committed Christian. I miss her a lot.
LOL!
Aren’t there any people of integrity anymore? Same thing happened in our circuit.
Pennsylvania news ping!
I can hear it now:
“I’m sorry...................I got caught.
The irony. It’s newspaper is called The Pottsville Republican. I grew up in the Minersville area. Great memories.
If you see posts of interest to Pennsylvanians, please ping me.
Thanks!
Thanks sneakers for the heads up

I grew up in Orwigsburg. Schuylkill County politics is pretty corrupt though as you know. The GOP establishment sure likes their good ‘ole boys. Right now I’m in Centre County as a graduate student at PSU. The amount of leftists in my program is despicable.
Dems and GOP there are corrupt
