US Communists Shill for Russia Over Ukraine Submitted by Trevor on April 18, 2014 – 3:08 am EST

Brian Becker

Two groups have been most actively supporting “there is no such thing as an ex-Chekist,” Vladimir Putin’s naked aggression in the Ukraine.

They are Western communists, who hate the West and still see Russia as a force for socialism and anti-Americanism, and some naive Western “conservatives” like commentator Pat Buchanan and actor Steven Segal, who seem to believe that Comrade Putin is a closet Christian bent on defending Western values and saving Europe from the Islamic hordes. These naifs seem to have no idea that Mr. Putin’s KGB/FSB comrades have long manipulated those Islamic hordes against the West and have attacked our values at every opportunity for more than 90 years.

The communists must be laughing up their sleeves as they dupe self deluding “conservatives” like Buchanan and Segal into cheerleading their own destruction.

Here’s one such Western communist — Brian Becker of the Party for Socialism and Liberation.

Interviewed on Kremlin propaganda channel RT (formerly Russia Today), Comrade Becker does a splendid job of obscuring the truth and spreading lies and disinformation on Moscow’s behalf.

Keep up with my posts and threads from now on with an open mind. You’ll see it spelled out eventually, but maybe not to your satisfaction.

Those who characterize others as "socks puppets" and "Putinistas" for wanting to limit ourselves to our own strategic interests rather than helping the EU save face are the ones on FR behaving like shills. Not a single one of the whole mudslinging, "play the isolationist card" cliche slinging, gang of dolts has made or can make a solid case for why the Ukraine is vital to our national interests.

If that's true, did you oppose the United States taking any kind of action during the cold war?

You might be kidding? Commintern was the biggest threat to our civilization at the time. It still bites.

~In the long run the state/fake chritianity, is the most dangerous and corrupt.

America was founded by people fleeing that, a religious revival here will be simple and honest Christianity, not what is operating in Russia under KGB operatives and Putin and as a willing partner of the state.~

Can you ever draw a line between the Church and Faith?

I get it. When you get some real evidence drop me a line. Be aware that Globalist propaganda and Corporate Media BS doesn't cut it.

I don’t even know what you mean, what church, what faith, what line, what are you talking about?

Yes, it’s different. America was the prime force of good in the world, exporting freedom, democracy, capitalism, and such, during the Cold War years and even before. Now we promote homosex and degeneracy, via both our government and our popular culture. We are transitioning from a force of good to a force of evil. It’s obliterated the old Cold War dichotomy.

Wow, what a powerful argument for why we shouldn't let the EU handle the problems they made for themselves. Letting them pick up their own toys when they're done playing is the same as saying we shouldn't have lifted a finger to protect ourselves ever since WWII.

Gosh, I'm gonna have to think about that one.

Obviously you believe it all went wrong when Patton wasn't granted his wish and allowed to integrate what was left of the Wehrmacht into his Army and fight his way to Moscow.

Read posts 61 and 82, they respond a little to what you are saying.

Let’s be less abstract. There are numerous cases of corruption within the Catholic Church.

Does it really compromise a Catholic Faith?

I’m not a fan of Russian Church nor many Russians who are much more experienced in understanding realities through government propaganda than many of the self-proclaimed vigilant consevatives on this forum.
So, people are capable to to be a true Christians there, while being suspicious to a government-friendly Church and it’s intentions at the same time.

Putin’s pro-Christian posture is still a positive factor, is it sincere of not.

Putin is oppressing religion, not allowing free practice of it, and he is establishing a state church, corrupting it, and conspiring with it to keep out uncorrupted Christians.

That is deadly and anti-Christian, it is corrupt and evil.

Wow, what a powerful argument for why we shouldn't let the EU handle the problems they made for themselves.

The EU is behind Yanukovych who is being protected by the regime in Russia? Last I checked, it was that Russian puppet who stole billions from the Ukrainian treasury, stripped the Ukrainian military, and murdered his own people.

"Obviously you believe it all went wrong when Patton wasn't granted his wish"

It all went wrong before that, but, if Patton had indeed had his way, we'd have saved the millions of people who were murdered by the communist regimes.

So what's the logic of refusing to fight the cold war now?

Okay, it seems like useless to argue with you.

Bear in mind, we are talking about a country there are visiting any church was about as socially acceptable as drug addiction or prostitution just 30 years ago. One could loose a government career if/when she has baptized her newborn and coworkers learnt it.

Any move further, including corrupt government-friendly church, let alone pro-Christian statements from a national leader is a giant leap.
