As soon as the taxpayer subsidized, cheap labor is legal the workers will demand regular pay rates, perhaps even demand to be paid for past work at the regular rate -- and demand to keep their welfare payments if the Democrats want their votes.

They will no longer fear the employer, they will unionize, and perhaps even align with gang thugs to steal the businesses away from the owners.

Then there will be demands for TARP to reimburse the former owners . . . .

And once that happens there will be pressure on the government to relax border security and let in a new batch of illegals who will work off the books for less than minimum wage.
