No land lying within the boundaries of the Treaty of Guadalupe Hildago is “Territory or other Property belonging to the United States.”

The treaty was a transfer of governmental authority, not a deed to any land.

Not trying to cause a fight, just for your information.

Ok, now things are getting silly. I don’t remember the Treaty of Guadalupe Hildago mentioned in any of the Federalist Papers.

well, I don’t know anything about all that

all I know is the fedgov has powers and the states have rights and I hope the states throw the Feds the hell out
